The object of the Johnson County United Way is to develop team work among the social agencies serving Johnson County, Missouri, and their constituencies in the interest of the financial support of such agencies, and the effective planning and execution of the social service program of this county. This organization may, by a majority vote of the officers and directors, extend its activities to include the coordination of appeals for special state and local projects and for national and international relief and service agencies. Our mission statement says: The Johnson County United Way supports organizations that feed the hungry and homeless families throughout our community and support the many health and human-service organizations across our communities, supported by volunteers. Now, more than ever, we need the help of all communities within Johnson County to continue the job of helping families survive together.
In an on-going effort to accomplish this, we are continually searching for volunteers to serve as board directors and help bring to fruition our efforts. To accomplish this we ask if you can give an hour or two a month for board meetings and use your special talents to help us with our efforts.

Give the gift of you. Volunteer.
